Here’s how GlobalTrip defines a pre-existing condition:Pre-existing Condition means any Injury, Sickness, condition, including chronic, or related condition (including any condition from which death ensues) of You, or Your Traveling Companion which within the 6 month period (for Age 70+ 12 month period) prior to the Effective Date of Your Protection Plan: Chronic condition means: A condition that persists for a long time and generally has a slow progression. Generally, chronic conditions cannot be prevented by vaccines or cured by medication, nor do they just disappear. For example, Diabetes, COPD & any condition that requires Coumadin (Warfarin) are chronic. Chronic diseases are specifically listed by WHO. Click here for more information about chronic diseases.
